Letters To My Husband

Dear Holbsdarling,

I hope you do not mind the mileage, but I had to drive to Spokane to get the car washed. You know that place on Division? With the full service vacuum? It was a beautiful sunny day out and the radio gods loved me all the way there. Twenty bucks and two hours of driving and you would not believe how that puppy shines.

(I also had to go to the Target but let's not discuss.)

Dear Holbsy you should know we are all simply distraught without you. Last night after you left Peter Pan did nothing but cry. He paced the bedroom and whined, laid under the bed and sighed, then sat on my head on the bed and groaned. Rinse and repeat. I did not get any sleep. Come home soon!

(Barnaby is completely fine, but don't let that make you feel bad.)

Oh, and me! Oh, I am horribly sad. I miss you terribly! What am I supposed to do with myself? I have complete control of the television channels and the power is getting to my head. There is nothing interesting on TV these days, what happened? I watched about a million episodes of Pawn Stars on the History Channel tonight and I am sorry to report that I am falling more in love with that bald guy. What is it with me and bald guys? I would request that you go bald, except I do so love that red hair of yours.

Good luck on your presentation tomorrow! I am sure you will do wonderfully.

xoxo
Your Wifey

  4. Um, you do not put a woman on hold like that, not to mention said woman's eight bagrillion blog readers who, when I reread yesterday's comments, sound like they are about to riot. And "Ratalie" caught on with one person, which I like, because that's what I call you in my head all the time, though typed it for the first time only yesterday. So goodie on that but BOOOO on the other. We need YOU to know, so WE can know. Pass that on for us, TOMORROW, wouldja? (And know that I'm singing Annie...)

  5. I think since I'm a follower I should permanently de-lurk myself.
Just so you know I checked a million times yesterday for a new post!! I think 1132 people (did you know you have that many followers!) are going to give those people a piece of their mind too!!
    Good Luck to the Holbs!

  9. I watched Pawn Stars and Pickers last night too. Hubs was busy researching on the computer and... well, the TV remote power got to my head too. But like you say, there's rarely anything worth watching anymore. *sigh*

Please do tell the entire story of how you give them a piece of your mind. I'm sure it will be nothing less than interesting to me. I'm so curious who "them" is and how it will all pan out. :)

  10. We have our DVR set to record Pawn Stars. I am a little in love with baldy Rick myself. I think because he reminds me so much of my husband (who is also bald).

Okay I totally watched Pawn Stars last night, we watch it all the time and last night for the first time I found myself ADMIRING the bald guy...so I remarked that to my fiance and he was like "uhm what" and I was all like "well Ratalie" and he was like "uhm who" and I was like "you know my blogger that I read DUH..please keep up" and he just stared at me all blank like...sheesh.

  13. Your hubby can sure rock the aviator-style glasses. Ow, ow! And I too love those places that wash every nook and cranny of your car for you, including a little vacuum action. Still anxious to hear!

  14. I'm dying here!

I hate it when the hubby goes out of town, too. It gets boring pretty quick.

Anticipation is gnawing at me too and as one of your readers said she checked back a gazillion times yesterday, that was me too!

  16. Yeah, I've got a thing for bald guys, too, and I've suggested to Jeremy that he -- you know, but then I took it back because he's got the most beautiful, thick, sexy, rich, brown hair, and well, I don't think I could bear it if he bared it. Haha, how did you like that little homonymical tidbit?
