In my country, children have to walk for two hours through rugged terrain just to go to school. And they walk without wearing shoes, or even slippers. :(
shootie ... that is just no fun at all! but you are in nyc ... a dream for lots of folks ... my broadway bound daughter for one ... and if i am still single as an empty nester in a few more years, i'm joinin' her ... but i won't be pregnant ... thank heavens ... good luck though ... you're young, you're cute, you can do it!
I bet there are some good eatin' places in those 8 blocks. Everywhere you turn in that town is another culinary wonder! Think of it as your adventure. It might be a little stinkier and scarrier than say your walks in Moscow to visit the queen st.bernards, but it might be super fun if you could procure yummy snacks on the way there and home???
Moscow misses you! It has been gloriously warm here the last few days. Harvest is in full swing. The Lentil Festival was last weekend. I saw Dr. Schweeze yesterday in the lobby of One. All the students are back (gross). Still, the nights are cool and quiet. I will drive by the old house of dreams once in a while to send you updates on how she's faring!
I pray it takes less than half that to get to the hospital.
ReplyDeleteEEEK! How far away is the hospital???
ReplyDeleteThat isn't going to be pretty at 38 weeks.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking what Traci was thinking!

ReplyDeleteWow!!
ReplyDeleteManhattan is glamorous but not so much with the practical. That's all I'm saying.
ReplyDeleteAnd that is why New York invented the taxi! By 38 weeks, a cab ride will feel as nice as a massage!
ReplyDeleteHoly Jesus!
