We just got our family Christmas photos back from our amazingly talented friend Kaitlyn and I had to share them. I love them so much I could die. Thank you so much, Kaitlyn!
p.s. THIS is my very favorite thing I read all day
What a good-looking family! Oh, and little Henry's attire is almost too precious to bear. Clearly he needs his own style posts.
These photographs are sheer perfection! The pic with the three of you walking along the sidewalk, especially. Love it. My husband and I skipped engagement pics and when we got married in Venice, it was just the two of us, so...we don't have any professional photos of us. (tragedy.) We may just have to save up and contact Kaitlyn.
Also, you should use the sidewalk one for your Christmas cards! You could put the text in the lower right hand corner. (Not sure how one would do that, but perhaps you're more computer savvy.)
Some wonderful shots of the three of you which show love and a now complete family unit. I like the one of the baby asleep on your shoulder and the one where you are both looking at each other. Lovely shots.
I don't know what you're talking about girl! Everytime I read your blog I try and figure out how you manage to look absolutely gorgeous in every single blasted picture taken of you! Even the bad phone pictures! I have naturally curly hair which means that in 9 out of 10 pictures there is always a curl (or 20) that's gone awry. Always. I'm 25 and it's always been this way, so there must be no escaping it. If you know of something that helps, I'm all ears. I only ask because you know everything.
Instead of complimenting you on the cuteness, which of course is obvious, I will instead compliment your wit that comes through in your writing. Because really, cuteness is just a genetic gamble, you never did anything to deserve it or had to work hard at. Total crapshoot. As an ex-mormom, inactive, whatever the label is these days, I started drinking coffee at 14 to piss off my parents, and never looked back. That is willpower woman!
As my 5th graders would rap "Let me hear you say, Paul Revere! PAUL REVEERRRRRE!"
Yeah. We rapped about the Revolutionary War.
Sorry, I got distracted by the title. and then the cuteness of baby Huck! What was this post about again? I had cuteness overload and I stopped paying attention.
Also Fairway gives me anxiety. Damn NYC and our full contact grocery shopping.
My favorites are the third one (you all walking down the street), the close up of Henry your little Eskimo baby (of course!) and the close up of the two of you smiling at each other (second from the last).
But they're all wonderful! I love how NYC was incorporated.
Natalie, the pictures look great! You are so photogenic and I must say, those Holbrooks are one hot familia.

"Put a camera near my face and I turn all weird and hammy."
ReplyDeleteYes! I totally understand. It is like I think making a silly face will equal cute, and usually it equals "ewwww".
