LOL, I'd forgotten about Saturday's Warriors, even though for some reason we watched it all the time as kids.
ReplyDeletecourage take for goodness sake, and when you're out of courage and you're ready to break...you have your father and mother, sisters and brothers ... pulling together we can work it out. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteah! Huck is so cute. Almost edible :)
ReplyDeletei love your guys' stripes. stripes are my fave. i want to squueze his face, in the cutest way possible.
ReplyDeleteYour Hucklesberry has a pout totally identical to yours!!! Sooo adorable! :)
ReplyDeletestunning!
ReplyDeleteHuck is a cutie :) Don't forget to lather on the sunblock!!
ReplyDeleteso cute! i used to think having an office building looking out over the park was nice. i guess actually being in it during the day is much better.
ReplyDeletei'd be there too if i had that park and that huck.
ReplyDeletehuck is the cutest chubbiest love muffin ever.
ReplyDeleteIf I had any money or a business of some kind I'd sponsor you -- because that baby makes me want to make audible cute noises, like, "OH!"
ReplyDeleteAdorbs. I wonder, are we going to give Huck a complex when he gets older and finds that legions of women fawned over his handsome face when he was a kid? Not such a bad complex to have actually...
Aaaand now I have Saturday's Warrior stuck in my brain. This could make for a very long day. ;)You know, a couple of years ago at our community's Earth Day at the Park, I saw a man who very strongly resembled...what's his name from Saturday's Warrior. You know, the artist who was destined to marry the girlfriend of the guy who baptized him? "I take some paper in my haaaaaand, and with a pencil draw a man, the dream of what I'd really really like to be..." It was uncanny--he even had the mullet.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I'm turning on my iTunes as soon as I get to work: at least I know THAT'S Saturday's Warrior-free...
PS I'm NYC-bound in something like 3 weeks! Cannot wait!
I have a feeling I'm going to be jealous of your park visits all summer! So beautiful there!
ReplyDeleteAlso, two days ago I got a pampers diaper coupon in the mail, addressed to me. I'm at the point of being VERY ready to try for a baby, but husband and I decided to wait until December so he won't be new at his job anymore. It made me all sorts of grumpy, and reminded me of your Mother's Day post. But your pictures of Huck remind me that being patient will be SO worth it!
awh man! now i have that song in my head.
ReplyDeleteDid you know "Saturday's Warrior" was my first introduction to the church, thanks to Jim's mom? Yet I still joined. A miracle, truly.
ReplyDeletethese pictures are so fresh and happy!
ReplyDeleteLove them!!
:)
with glory trailing from their feet as they go, and endless promise in their eyyyyyes! (cue the really high-pitched choir) who are these young ones, growing tall, growing strong? ...ok ok i'll stop now.
ReplyDeletewish it was that nice of a day here today in Utah! and on the sponsors, you go girl! Its about time!

ReplyDeleteI used to have that entire movie memorized. Then I went to BYU and one of my best friends had been Ernie. When we'd go to Cafe Rio people would shout out, "ERNIE!" poor kid.
