the other day my instagram app and i went for a nice walk through central park.
this is what we saw:
brinkley!?!?!
on babble this week, huck
got mastitis,
rejected sleep training efforts whole-heartedly,
had his six month well visit with his (possibly) crazy pediatrician,
and got a brand new bedroom (in a closet).
poor kid!
(but his closet is rad!)
That is DEFINITELY Tom Selleck.
ReplyDeleteHaha, you're hilarious! That was the most enjoyable ramble I think I've ever read! The pictures are all gorgeous darling! Oh, and I remember those pretzels, those sneaky, flavorless, dehydrating pretzels.... Thanks for sharing your fun adventure through the park! Oh... and I must not forget to tell you that I don't think it's in poor form to refer to your blog post during your blog post, nor it is unappealing to transcribe your hubby's comments "in real time" it all adds to the enjoyment of the read!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Almost Mother's Day!!! =)

my dog looks just like that, and his name is Bodie (muchachas, king of the wild frontier, if you want his FULL name)
ReplyDeletei've asked before, but i'm going to try again- what brand of case do you have on your phone? :)
ReplyDelete@colby, it's a no-name brand i found on amazon--they have a TON of fun colors, and they're all under $10.
ReplyDeleteawesome. thanks.
ReplyDeleteTrue about the pretzels--yuck! True about the red, white and blue Popsicles, I had one in Central Park last September, I wasn't pregnant but it was still amazingly delicious and refreshing!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, as I read, all I could think of was Mary Poppins. As if she were narrating? Delightful!
ReplyDeletenot a silly post, a cute, funny post that makes my travel bug wriggle around in my belly...or where ever he is currently residing.
ReplyDeleteWas it Tom Selleck? Be still, my heart! Loved the ramble! And the Brinkley reference.
ReplyDeleteThis was so much fun! Thanks for the tour, I felt like I was really there. The walk to Zabar's was majorly fun too. Take me around NYC some more!
ReplyDeleteLove these pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! I love how everything is in bloom. It is here as well. There are little white flowers littering the sidewalks when I take the dogs on their daily trots. It's like springtime snow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great walk we had! Thanks for inviting me along.
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely Brinkley. I would be looking for Tom if I had truly been there :o)
I swear I saw Selleck at JFK a few years ago!!
ReplyDeleteBut on a more serious note, what is your polish??? I wants it girl!
What a beautiful day in the park!
ReplyDeleteAnd that dog does look like Brinkley - I love that movie, btw. :)
Happy Mother's Day! I love the pic of you holding sweet-boy's hand.
ReplyDeleteYou are a good mom. Go to a pediatrician you like most of the time.
I have been meaning to ask for a while-where did you get your cute floral skirt you are wearing in the post "on the day I reached adulthood"? I need one;) It is darling and I enjoyed the walk thru central park
ReplyDeletelove your polish! and that pic of the white tulips. nicely done.
ReplyDeleteBRINKLEY?! brinkley is my dog.
ReplyDeletei can't believe the pretzels are so dang expensive. here in bavaria (where they smell good and taste better) you can get one for a euro. i know because i get one almost daily.
i loved this post...and your nail polish.
@reichmans, it's an anthro skirt!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun. :-) And your mid-blog crisis and blogging the holb's in real time cracked me up. (That's usually my favorite part of any of your posts - what The Holbs / Brandon says to you.) :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat brand is your iphone case? i love it!
