on saturday we bravely faced the express train and visited our old stomping grounds in brooklyn. we wandered through the brownstones, over to old fulton street and the always impressive line at grimaldi's, down under the brooklyn bridge, and finally to the refurbished jane's carousel in dumbo.
it was such a great day.
highly recommended.

Carousels are such a wonderful childhood memory.
ReplyDeleteThere was one in the town next to me growing up and my aunt would take me there sometimes on the weekends.
Huck is such a lucky little one to get to go.
@jen fuller: there is a carousel in slc at the zoo!
ReplyDelete@jen i think there's a carousel at the mall in sandy too!
ReplyDeleteHuck has the best expressions :) Such a cutie.
ReplyDeleteGreat Goodness Natalie. That picture of Huck, strapped to you, taken from your angle, I can see him turning into a little boy! It makes me want to cry because I'm in love with that little pudgy, baby face.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and it's suchhhh a welcome distraction from my schoolwork. I've laughed out loud twice now, in my room, by myself. And it takes a lot to make me laugh out loud when I'm by myself for some reason. Maybe that's normal. I don't know. (sorry for rambling. i'm hyped up on tea and chocolate right now.)
ReplyDeleteYou're going to KILL my bank account eventually, Natalie! Every time you post pictures of anything in NYC I feel like jumping a plane and visiting there. It can only be a matter of time before I actually do it.
