it's bittersweet but mostly I so enjoy watching each of my boys grow. it is fascinating and exhausting and so amazing. just you wait until he is six and having the cleverest of conversations with you cuddle in his bed at night. that's my favorite part of the day. absolute best.
It definitely doesn't make me want another one but I will settle, quite comfortably, for looking at yours. He's not so hard on the eyes. Youknowwhatimean?
I think every stage is so amazing, fun, and exhausting all at the same time. My oldest is 8 and i can honestly say every age brings something new and fun....and me....i would never wish them back to babes ( okay maybe for one day....but that's it!) babes are so cute....but so much work to me. I love age 3....it's my fav. 3 is magic!
Definitely a heart breaker. My daughter is turning 4 next weekend and last night I started panicking about the fact that she is just going to keep growing and she is so awesome right now and how on earth could I just keep her being a 4 year old?
I can't believe it. Sometimes I feel like I'm just constantly saying goodbye. Goodbye to his toes that still smell sweet and hello to stinky little boy toes (that somehow are like crack to me and I just keep sniffing them). Goodbye floppy newborn head and hello neck. It's amazing to watch them grow, so bittersweet.
it does! it really does. when i look at pix of my babies from bygone days, i miss them so much. it doesn't make me want a baby so much as that particular baby in that picture just as he was.
can i tell you... i have that same chair in the grey gingham. that same pillow in the charcoal. that same rug, but the fuzzy cream colored one. and they are all sitting organized just like that in my son's nursery. haha. great minds.
makes my heart want one
