i've had this dreamy little video on repeat the last few weeks.
i can't get over this song or their lovely harmonies.
makes me nostalgic for singing with my sisters, for my long hair (grow, hair!),
and ugh, for my guitar that is still somewhere (???) in storage.
sir guitar:
the callouses on my fingers are nearly gone.
the callouses on my fingers are nearly gone.
it's time to get you home to new york!
ooh good call! i also like their song "I Try."
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! I can't play the guitar to save my life, but my husband is pretty amazing at it. It's on my bucket list to learn though :)

Beautiful! Never heard of them before, but I'm so glad for the introduction:)
ReplyDeleteIt's as if they know exactly how to reach down into my soul and remind me it's still there. Thanks for sharing! (This would be my first comment ever!)
ReplyDeleteI first heard the Staves at the beginning of the year and fell in love with their voices--they give me goosebumps.
ReplyDeleteSaw them at a show in Oklahoma City at a teeny little venue. There were maybe 100 of us and we were on the second row. Maybe my favorite concert ever. You should look up Ben Howard. They are touring together right now and he is FABULOUS too.
ReplyDeleteI rocked my baby to sleep to this last night, thank you. I also had a dream you announced you were pregnant on your blog ... why I am dreaming about your future blog posts I do not know, but it's probably because I am excited to follow you through another pregnancy and baby raising adventure. I love your posts on mama-hood/baby wrangling.
ReplyDeletehadn't heard of them...good share.
