i can't recall exactly how the idea came up, or who thought of it first, i only know that one day i was chatting with kaitlyn when suddenly our voices had escalated to many octaves above normal and we had hatched our silliest plan to date: kaitlyn would be the photographer, i would be kathleen kelly, brandon would be joe fox, the upper west side would be our canvas. huck could stand in for brinkley. i think we were fanning our faces in excitement. ;) there may have been some light bouncing. i told brandon our plans later that night and watched as the entirety of his eyeballs rolled to the upper portions of his face. then he grew real quiet and said, "okay, but if we are doing this, we are doing it all the way."
and that's when i knew there had to be amish pretzels involved.
and that's when i knew there had to be amish pretzels involved.
we got the photos back on friday and oh dear. they are so ridiculous. and amazing! haven't we all wanted to be kathleen kelly for an afternoon? the whole afternoon i couldn't wipe the goofy grin off my face. i've been giddy over it all weekend.
here, wait. let's set the mood first.
now we're ready.
(that is a wet wipe. brandon's idea. i could not keep it together)
hooray for you, kaitlyn!
we couldn't be happier with them.
i literally cannot stop smiling, hah.
(you can see more HERE!)
p.s. we so nailed this one! yesss!
kaitlyn will be in so-cal
holding mini sessions from july 13-18.
if you're in the area,
you need to book her. we love her.

ReplyDeleteThis makes me so happy <3
ReplyDeleteKathleen (in response to "it's not personal, it's business"): What is that supposed to mean? I am so sick of that. All that means is that it wasn't personal to you. But it was personal to me. It's -personal- to a lot of people. And what's so wrong with being personal, anyway? Whatever else anything is, it ought to begin by being personal.
