my mother is in town for mother's day and we have plans to walk the entire island by foot and commit a lot of ill-thought-out flea market purchases. we have plans to see a late showing of the five-year engagement so brandon could have a boys night and watch the game with some boy-friends, and as we were discussing the evening i pointed out that it was an r-rated movie and my mom said, "it doesn't bother me, though i guess i should be a better example..."
to which i said, "mom. that ship has sailed."
way to fail on me, mom. ;)
