we were delighted when houzz.com contacted us about featuring our apartment on their site. putting this apartment together has been so much fun. it is nowhere near finished, but perfection is the enemy of the good, as they say. and as we all know, i am nothing if not the exact opposite of a perfectionist.
just a few photos for now,
you can go HERE to see the rest.

and thank you to houzz for having us!
what a beautiful home you have! i love how cozy it is, especially huck's little nook :) just wonderful! i know how hard it can be apartment living with a baby and all, and you guys seem to rock it!
ReplyDeletexo, amanda it's the little things
Such a beautiful home you've made! I love the poster you made, too. And is it weird that seeing Huck's little bedroom totally makes me want to sleep in a closet? Hmmm. Well, if it worked for Harry Potter, it'll work for me! (Actually, it probably won't work for me, but I'm going to dream about it for a little while, then promptly get over that fantasy.)
ReplyDeleteAdore that little pillow in huck's bed! So cute.

ReplyDeleteYour place is gorgeous! Does it not feel a little weird to have photos of your bedroom all over the internet? I think I might feel a bit odd about it. And those flowers are spectacular! I may buy myself some flowers today in your honour!!!

When I finally move out of my parents house, I wanna live somewhere as cute as your place! You wanna come decorate it for me when it happens?
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome...I'd love you to do a detailed blog on making use of small spaces. I'm always feeling dissatisfied with my tiny little house, but yours is so welcoming and so not overstuffed! I think a purge may be in my future.
