You're killing me with these posts about Shake Shack! The most delicious food in the world!!! On a whim, I decided to eat vegan for the month of July. But now, all I want to do is jump in my car, drive from my apartment in the Fort Lauderdale suburbs to the Shake Shack in Miami Beach, and inhale a Shackburger, cheese fries, and a peanut butter malt. Yummmm!!! So glad July is almost over. I may be at Shake Shack on August 1st!!!

Hah! I've had so many days like that lately with both kids on summer break!! We always end up at the library then we get a boba drink after or a horchata!!!
ReplyDeleteoh hey, brandon's a brella.
ReplyDeleteI'm Australian, I've been to the states three times now, and I've tried so many American fast food places we don't have but never Shake Shack. And you know, that burger actually looks.. kinda healthy. You know? Fresh, with real stuff in it. Instead of oily, soggy cheesy messes than most American fast food joints are all about. (Sorry America!)
ReplyDeleteHere in Arizona to escape out of the house we go to the nice air conditioned mall. This shake shake trip sounds so much more fun though! I would get some weird looks though lugging my 4 kids and big belly around the streets of my- haha. I would still totally do it though.
ReplyDeleteOh shake shack cheese fries are amazing! I believe we are uws neighbors! And very adorable umbrella!!

Oh, Just Living the Dream
Ha ha ha ha ha, that umbrella comment cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteOh my. That burger looks amazing. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteCabin fever gets the best of me and my 18 month old too. So, we head out. We don't have a car here in Scotland. No need for one. Public transit goes anywhere we need. But our little town has everything we could want close by. We usually head out to the park or stop at the bakery for a donut. But, I'd stop at the Shake Shack if we had one! That looks amazing!
i think shake shack is the perfect place to end up. even the best reason to leave home in the first place.
ReplyDeletethat umbrella is darling. still good you didn't have to use it =)
I'm obsessed with Shake Shack and have gone to every Manhattan location and to the DC one too. Last week I was bad and went Thursday AND Saturday but at least I switched it up and got a hamburger the first time w/a shake and a hot dog with the AWESOME strawberry lemonade the second time. Tried the cheese fries too for the first time last week but they're definitely too rich. Ahhhh I could go on and on about Shake Shack. Oh and in the In n Out vs. Shack Shack debate, Shake Shack wins hands down!
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness, that burger looks delicious... I've been trying to eat well now that I'm trying to be all fit and whatnot. But I think I might cave! And I'm ok with that.
ReplyDeleteI love your comment about the umbrella though! Too funny!
What a wonderful afternoon!
ReplyDeletePS I love that umbrella!
I love your blog!! I have been creepishly reading for a while now, but just decided to comment (I'm in a commenting mood). I get stir-crazy sometimes too--HAVE to leave the house. So jealous you live in NYC.
ReplyDeleteHow do you make a little spur of the moment Friday night date sound so fun?! You're the cutest person ever, that's how!

O how I wish I could stumble upon a Shake Shack. It looks so delicious right now and it's 10 in the morning.
ReplyDeletei am wondering if the DC shake shack is up to par with the NY locations.... i think you have inspired me to find out!
ReplyDeleteokay, my husband has been to new york a few times and all he ever talks about is shake shack. this place must be heaven on earth or something. and i love that you bought an umbrella because it looked like your husband. how adorable!!!

next time i go to nyc i am having a shake shack burger because they look so good; i am sure i will love cheese fries; and because it seems the place to go.
ReplyDeleteOMG, that looks delicious! Good ol' burgers and fries are probably the food I miss the most from the States. They just don't get how to do them right over here in Germany. So sad.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm feeling jealous of your lifestyle! I wish I could have casual days to do whatever with my little guy. I know Huck is going to have some great memories as he grows up :D
ReplyDeleteyour umbrella! that you got because it looks like your husband! YES!! i think i need a "husband umbrella" as well. husbandrella?
ReplyDeletexo
Ohhh hell yes cheese fries. There is something so incredible about the way a Shake Shack burger melts into your tongue. And that secret sauce, too? Forget about it.
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Oh god now I kind of want shake shack.
ReplyDeleteThat's the cutest umbrella I've ever seen!! Where did you get it?
ReplyDeleteThat burger really looks good! I miss making our traditional Friday night Gabriel Burgers - made with ostrich patties - really yummy!
