a few more shots from our quick coney island escape.
we stopped in at the new york aquarium with our city zoo passes on a whim,
It turned out to be the best part of quite a magical afternoon.
i get a lot of emails asking,
"what should i do in the city with my toddler?"
well, this would be good, for starters.
the new york aquarium
(sells really cute t-shirts in their gift shop, i wish we'd grabbed one)
located on the coney island boardwalk.
totally worth the hour-plus train ride.
i LOVE that last pic. absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeletewe took my son to the aquarium a week ago for his 2nd birthday trip and he loved it also.
Look at him! Clutching those globes with all his might! Too cute. I just love aquariums. Last fall, we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and it was absolutely magical. For kids and adults!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! An hour on the train? Really?
ReplyDeleteThat spherical beanie baby stuffed penguin was legitimately on my birthday list. No age limits allowed on toys that awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat last picture...I die. So darn adorable.
ReplyDeleteI hope you brought that penguin home with you- cuteness overload! See I didn't even know there was an aquarium in the city. Cool!
ReplyDeleteCheers!

Seriously, my three year old has still not forgiven us for leaving him behind when we took the older kids to NY. If only I would have known that toddlers really do exist there...
