of course the first thing we had to do after dad had been gone so long, toiling away in deep dish territory, is get him back on track with a good old slice of the greasy stuff, new york style, folded down the middle.
this wants to be a paragraph waxing poetic about pizza but look. i'll spare us all.
he point is i took this little series of photos on my phone, and after scrolling through them with brandon at least a five times in bed later that night and laughing every time, i decided they warranted a blog post. i call it, "no really huck, you do want that pizza. just eat it."
(and i am sorry huck but you seem to have inherited my awful pursed lips face i make when i'm thinking about things . . . it's genetic and cannot be helped. blame your grandpa lovin.)
"yeah, that's pretty good, dad."

ReplyDeleteThe Rich Style
So sweet. I love toddler expressions. Brandon looks SO tired but I like the beard. I'm trying to persuade my husband to grow a beard. He's a silver fox so his beard would look so manly...but he's very resistant!
ReplyDeleteYou always take the sweetest candid, love that last one with Huck's kissy, "okay, you were right" face.
ReplyDeleteahahaha the faces Huck makes are hilarious! What an adorable little boy!

ReplyDeleteOh. My. Gosh!!!! Huck just stole my heart. I can't stop smiling at his precious face. Reminds me of my son, Myles. I'm friends with you sister Alex, well, I met her at BYU-Idaho the year I transferred to BYU so I'm sad I didn't get to know her better. Seems to me you guys have a very talented family... she's sings & you are a fabulous writer. Great diction in every post. I really enjoy reading your blog and eat up the sarcasm. You're good.
