we took advantage of the fresh utah powder that's been falling nonstop and found ourselves a cute little sledding hill this afternoon with brandon's sister and her family.
don't let my expression fool you, this hill was tiny! obviously sledding's not really my sport.
turns out i'm much happier taking pictures of the snow than falling down the snow.
it sure is fun being back in the place where brandon and i first fell in love.
look out provo, we're going to come and smooch our way through all our old haunts soon!
Fantastic photos. Little bit different to my Christmas- bathers and pool time in Aus!
ReplyDeleteOoh-a "White Christmas". My very favourite Christmas musical. That snow looks amazing-so clean and fluffy seeming. I'm a fan of the first and last photos. Most frameable (for you not me, that'd be weird).
ReplyDeleteYou're the cutest!!
ReplyDeletephew! glad i'm not the only person that gets so freaked out when sledding. have fun!!
ReplyDeleteJealous of the snow! We barely ever get any here in the south of England!
ReplyDeleteI know right were that hill is! Good times!

So sweet! Monday has Lehi sledding written all over it for our clan! Happy Utah brought you snow and Cafe Rio this holiday season ;)!
ReplyDeleteah, the fluffy, good-sledding type snow. when we get that here in good old minnesota, it normally gets too cold to even enjoy it! looks fabulous and so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get your coat? I love it.
ReplyDeleteyou all look adorable! that blonde gal (brandon's sister?) is making the rest of us look bad :D :P
ReplyDeletehuck is a doll:)

ReplyDeleteLooked like all of u had so much fun!! Including huck :)
ReplyDeleteLove that title!! "Snowwww snowww snowwwww!!!"
ReplyDelete"White Christmas" might be my favorite Christmas movie. Or at least in my top 4 ;)
Huck looks so cute and excited on the sled!
oh my gosh at that first picture! and im dying at the ones of you getting on the sled!
ReplyDeleteokay this is all adorable and amazing. but may i just say that as a woman who does not care for beards on faces at all - like AT ALL, at all - that husband of yours sure does grow quite the beard. that must be the beards that men everywhere dream of! and there's like a two-tone beard/hair color quality that totally just works. so please do tell him that he may have just changed my mind about beards? and i truly thought it was not possible.
ReplyDeleteThis bronzed Aussie just spent a week at the beach. Two completely different worlds. Thanks for sharing yours. The pictures are just gorgeous,
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH! I SO HOPE TO SEE YOU I PROVO!
ReplyDeleteokay. now that THAT is out of my system. i am glad that you guys were here for the snow. it is almost like it was a sign from the heavens above. if the snow comes....nat will come...you know all that "if you build it, they will come" stuff. pretty poetic if you ask me.
your huck is my favorite on this planet. that first picture is pure beauty. good work. on both the picture....and his creation....you did good natalie.

ReplyDeleteLooks like such a blast! Your fam is adorable
ReplyDeleteLove the White Christmas title, one of my favorite movies!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snow :)
I was just reading my grandmother's journal and she wrote that snow water is the best for hair washing because it makes your hair super silky and soft. They'd leave a bucket out to collect snow, let it melt, and then wash away. So, I say go for it, lady!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say Happy New Year to you & your beautiful family Natalie! XOXO
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years to the Holbrooks! I hope this year is even better for your clan then the last! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteWaah! You are making me miss that Rocky Mountain winter! This is my first winter away from Utah in 7 years and I never thought I'd say it (being a Texan) but I miss that snow!! SO wish I was there! Especially so I'd have a chance to randomly run into you at Cafe Rio or the Wilk or whatever other zoobie place you might've visited. Hope yall had a Merry Christmas! Oh and btw, your Huck is so stinkin' cute.. buut you already knew that, I'm sure. ;)
ReplyDeleteAw, that last picture of you two is just perfect! And that first one of Huck is priceless! I love his little happy expressions as he's going down the hill. Even more so your husband, he looks so happy! Love this post :)

That last picture is the kind of picture generations to come will look at and talk about how much fun the two of you were and how deeply you loved not only each other, but your lives together. Well done.
