THINGS WE DID AND PLACES WE WENT... PART I

i had a moment last week where i realized i could stretch these thanksgiving posts out into oblivion and back if i wanted to... but i am going to "show some restraint" (thanks mom) and be a lady about this. so, just two posts full of photos completely lacking any order or method whatsoever.

my new favorite things to do when visitors come to town are as follows and i quote: 

✓ city bakery

✓ lower fifth avenue

✓ chelsea market.

so that is what we did on wednesday.

this is my very favorite shop in the city. it's full of mounted trophy and sleek furniture and faux lumberjack modernism. it's a dream.

on tuesday morning all the siblings (minus blake--blake we missed you!) met up for brunch at sarabeth's on central park south. it was rainy and dreary out and as we ate our eggs benedict and turkey burgers we watched as the rain out the window slowly turned to snow. it was pretty darn magical. the windows were just starting to frost over, we all had atrociously messy hair on and we were in our scratchiest wool sweaters, and i couldn't stop smiling. it was just us kids. like we were playing make believe grown ups. it felt like one of those moments i'd always remember. i wish i could have my sisters with me all the time.
